Financial Assistance
New student loan applications are available in May each year for those planning on attending a post-secondary institution. Applications are accessible in hard-copy at the Atlantic Business College administration office or online at: www.studentaid.gnb.ca.
Should you not be a permanent resident of NB, having lived in the province for at least 12 consecutive months, you will need to apply for a student loan from the province in which you were previously living.
ABC’s Admission staff would be more than happy to assist you in completing your student loan application. You must have your completed income forms at the time of completing your application. Once completed, please allow 4-6 weeks for processing.
Canada Student Loan
Disbursed First Semester - 60% of your assessed need, up to $210 per week
New Brunswick Provincial Loan
Disbursed mid-point of academic year - 40% of assessed need, up to $140 per week
